FSP For Surface Protection Finland Oy (FSP) has played a key role in the planning, in implementation and ramp-up of Mitsubishi Logisnext Europe Oy’s (MLE) new paint shop in Järvenpää. FSP has been responsible for the painting process at MLE’s premises since 2023.
Mitsubishi Logisnext Europe Oy is part of the international Mitsubishi Logisnext Group. In Finland, the company’s operations cover the design, manufacture and delivery of logistics solutions to customers. In addition to production, the unit located in Järvenpää also has its own product development unit. MLE’s product range includes a wide range of forklifts, automation systems and related solutions and services
The new production facility, completed in the spring of 2025, includes a wet coating line and a powder coating line, where the parts are pre-treated either by shot blasting or chemically. With the change, powder coating will cover a large part of the painting volume. The new powder coating line will increase the consistency of the work and enable an increase in capacity.
FSP has acted as a surface treatment expert throughout the project. The company has participated in the planning of the painting lines and the tendering of the paint shop equipment. FSP was involved in selecting the equipment supplier and has been responsible for the implementation and commissioning of the project together with MLE. FSP is now responsible for the entire production of the new paint shop.
