Acid pickling

Acid pickling is a pretreatment method for metal where the parts are immersed in tanks or pools. Acid pickling can be also performed by spraying if the parts are too big for tanks and pools. In some cases, acid pickling can also be performed on-site. The purpose of pickling is to remove any impurities and if needed to roughen the surface to achieve the best possible adhesion and to provide first class surface protection. Acid pickling is mostly performed on stainless steel and aluminium material.
